The Tabor is Eastside's original model that launched the brand in 2003 created by Portland, Oregon native Robin McGuirk. His motivation was to make a longboard that was manuvarable around the city but can still bomb a hill thus named after local Mt.Tabor Park on the Eastside of Portland. It's the perfect size hybrid longboard for anyone to learn to skateboard including both kids and adults. Over the years it has been updated and improved and remains the flagship model many have learned on. Made from thick longboard grade 7 ply maple, making the board sturdy, stiff, and durable. It features a big kicktail, mellow but sufficient concave, and wheel wells for longboard trucks and wheels. Trademark carry Handle is reliable and sturdy for traveling through busy city life. You’ll be ready to throw down, pick up, and ride in between the chaos and traffic. Graphic shows the view of Downtown Portland from the lower Eastside.

Lubricant and cleaning kits are used to keep the bearings in the wheels turning quickly and smoothly; if this is your first board, these upgrades are not necessary. Make sure you love to ride first!

Had an older version from 2007 that gave me 5 years of fun. So glad it has returned, just picked this one up and its even better than my last one. Perfect comfortable cave and super rad tail and nose, I'm very happy right now!

I live in So Cal and spend most of my time in Venice beach selling my art. I got this board as a gift and have it with me day and night, so much fun to ride on the board walk and carry anywhere with me! I ride it in the park here too and it flows so smooth, in and out of the tranny and back onto the boardwalk!

Found Eastside at the Saturday market in 2005 and got this board, back then with pinstripes and old english logo. Just got this much new one, super nice feel and way easy to ollie. Got the Eastside H20s ready for it when the weather turns...

This deck was made for my style, riding off curbs, running errands and going to work in downtown Portland. Made by a rad crew on the eastside of town here, this deck is true quality and perfection of fun in the city. Love going A to B, makes my day everyday since I've had it 2 years now!

Don't go anywhere without this board for the last 2 years now. Perfect for cruising and getting around campus, love the handle and the ability to pop over cracks and drop off curbs. Solid and dependable, plus it's the funnest part of my day everyday!

Got the board cause it had a handle to carry, but quickly found it did more than just cruise. The tail and nose are rad and super easy to pivot with and slappy grind on parking curbs. The deck fits like a glove to my feet and I can do everything I want getting around town. I work a ton so my short 1 mile to and from home make my day on this, thank you Eastside! BTW I ride it with the 9" Caliber 50 degree and Abec 11 Bertz, such a fun setup!

Never had a longboard before only rode skate decks but fell in love with the Tabor because it feels like my old boards, only a bit bigger for stable speed. Handle is sweet too when I'm in crowds and can't skate. Getting into downhill now, mine setup with Indys 169s and Abec 11 Flashbacks, sick combo!

Designed with this board over 10 years ago with a dozen revisions. Latest version here is the most solid, lightest, durable version with the most concave, nose and tail kick. The perfect 19" wheelbase for getting down your neighborhood hill, stand-up slides, parking block grinds, and down the street to the store for your favorite beverage. Handle or No Handle option for your preference. Don't worry the handle won't break and makes it really easy to carry if you commute.
