The grip is awesome but it is getting fucked up very easily and the bits of grip fall of and wear easily.

I learned how to slide with this tape. It's so aggressive that it's hard to go back to using something other than vicious! The only downside is that it's a shoe eater, which is making me go on the hunt for some different tape. STICKY AS HELL, but if you can't afford a new pair of shoes every month, don't buy.

great for downhill and sliding. it feels like your literally super glued to your board going 25+ just try not to bail onto or against it, cos it bites. AND did i mention it comes with free stickers?

I gripped my Hellcat with this griptape and it cut a chunk out of my shin when my board smacked me in the leg. I have only once slipped off of the board, and that was my fault completely. This stuff grips like crazy! It even looks grippy! Even when I do standup 180's at 20mph, I never worry about my feet slipping off of the board. If you are looking for the grippiest grip around this is it. I accidentely scraped my board against my arm and it shaved the hairs right off (not a joke I now have stubble on half my right arm). This is not grip to cuddle with, but if you want to do hard slides, drifts and carves without worrying about slip this is the grip for you.

lets just say this stuff is great almost to good. when i first applied this on my board it hurt. it went through 2 razors (for some friends 4) when i applied it. the moment i rode it i was locked in completly and when i went to grab the board a lot the past day my thumb was bleeding. do not be scared will break in and wont cut you in a week or so while still maintaining itsglue like grippiness. THREE SHEETS IS ENOUGH i have a 4 foot demonseed and it covered it completly. GET THIS!

Like precision bearing spacers or precision trucks, this will make your setup far more controllable and predictable. Because it's so coarse it does take some getting used to. But once you adjust, you'll wonder how you ever rode without it. I use it on my Godspeed G-Spot and it makes the deck feel attached to my feet as if it had bindings. It's especially good for those that want to feel locked in but don't prefer deep tub or w concaves. My favorite part is not having to worry so much about the placement of my rear foot. A little pressure with the toe and ball and it isn't going anywhere.

super grippy and crazy heavy duty. hard to cut designs into tho. but this is prime grip tape. just holding it is hard cause its so rough and grippy. amazing stuff here

This griptape is excellent. I keeps my feet locked into my board and it's perfect for a holding slides longer because my feet don't slide off. The only problem is that it eats your shoes,but it's totally worth it

i cut my hands a few times attempting to put this on and had to put something over the grip so i wouldnt cut myself again, when i first tried riding on it was what i exspected my feet dont slip off anymore and gives me wayyyy more control over my board

Hear me out, If you're one of those people like myself who don't have a lot of money and look on every site for every review when thinking of purchasing a product, stop. Vicious is a trust worthy brand skaters everywhere use, it common knowledge its the best. The adhesive is the best, the grit is the best, the looks are the best, the page of stickers you get are the best. Its tear-able (heh) but seriously it tears well, its awesome when stacking for concave. You might only get three sheets but you only need two to cover the area where you stand plus kicks if you have any. and with that extra sheet you can make concave, so its all good.

This stuff is super course. It eats shoes but that is better than eating dirt if you slip off. This is the second best griptape though. I got the privilege to beta test the new Seismic Lok-ton griptape and it is even better. It is sharper and more durable. I don't know if you can put it over old griptape though.

the clear griptape tap is medium grit the black vicious is just the way to go also the clear gets dirty really fast bust if you want amazing grip get the mob extra course its basically the same as vicious but cheaper

This grip tape is just fantastic. It locks you in and really lets you not have to worry about your feet slipping. Only problem is the clear gets dirty. Besides that, its awesome.

Good grip tape. more than what you pay for in my opinion because of the quality. kinda mad because i didn't get any daddies stickers or the sticker of the month. i payed 29.90 for 6 sheets so i don't know why. ._.

MY old griptape was terrible, i could rub an orange up and down the griptape and have no damage, my foot kept slipping. This vicious was a great upgrade. Doesnt destroy my shoes, perfect width, i didnt even have to cut it from the middle on my arbiter! I can adjust my feet and still have the locked in feeling. Buy it man

Goddamn! This grip is pretty amazing. I've been riding this for the last 2 weeks and i have gone from slipping off every couple days... to NOT at ALL. These steezy sheetzys reeeeally lock you in and it's pretty right that these, although not as grippy as the black version, it is STILL a shoe eater. Aggressive riding will obliterate a pair of Vans in a week or two.

When I received these my first thought was WOW, i got more than I paid for. I got three 10x11 sheets. The stuff is not as sharp as they say (thank the lord I was scared I'd bail and fall on this stuff). But it looks really good. Better buy this stuff fast because it's going quick.

Hey just got this today, is not as sharp as they say and won't cut your finger, but still has a really good grip without strapping you in. Looks good too. 10x11 inch sheets.

I just got my grip just the other day and it has to be the best stuffs out there. i just switched from a schlongboard with jessup to a sportster with viscous and i feel like i can go pro tomorrow. going from fivew foot toeside predrifts only to 55 foot colemans really has to be the best feeling out there. I'm riding a bustin sportster with viscous, caliber 44's and rayne envy 77a

Works great! easy enough to apply, grips amazing, and doesn't cut your fingers at all, especially since you're probably wearing slide gloves. (good for freeride and downhill)

The griptape locks your feet in during slides but you can do some freestyle like kickflips shuvits and follies without tearing up your shoes. It works great in the rain. I think the best feature is that you can tear it apart and stack it for 3d concave, gas pedals, and more. I definitely will recommend it to anyone into freeriding.

Still the best ultra coarse tape you can BUY as far as grip and ADHESIVE and I've tried everything. it's the stickyest period.

I bought this grip tape pack for my 2016 Switchblade 38 Maple Cobrabat a month ago and I gotta say that I'm definitely impressed. I used mob grip tape before trying Vicious and I can definitely tell a difference. The crystals are very big and the tape is definitely coarse; I even scratched my fingers up when applying the tape. After a month, I've accumulated a lot of dirt right where the Blade pockets are and I've chipped off quite a lot of crystals but there are still enough that I'm locked in and not afraid of slipping. Great tape.

It's everything you would expect from Vicious, BUT if you are a stickler for clean work like me, I would recommend ordering the sheets. Because it comes rolled up, it has creases in it when you try to lay it down, that are next to impossible to get out. Even after thinking I had them out, I have about 8 sweet creases on my brand new "Tiffany". Sadface.

I was doing some sliding today, and this griptape really locks in your feet like crazy! I started sliding and i don't know if it was the way i was leaning but my front foot completely slipped off and i got some roadrash. i don't know if it was from riding on the griptape for a long time wears it down. but i still enjoy riding with Vicious griptape. i prefer it for downhill longboarders or if you just want a really grippy griptape.

Great stuff. It locks u in so well. I have it on my original freeride 41. It gives u confidence at higher speeds. It's also great for rain sk8ingYou just shouldn't do flip tricks like Ollie's and kick flips on it because it will ruin ur shoes from sliding up your feet.

Yeah this tape is mad grippy and great for EVERYTHING! only bad thing is it kills shoes, also my roll had tons of creases that I couldn't push out... Must of had a bad roll anyway, AWESOME! grip would recommend.

If you like to freeride like me this is an amazing grip tape and I love how to grabs my feet during the slide. However if you like downhill, you might want to go with something less corse. When you downhill sometimes you need to move your feet around on you board, to go from tuck to pre-drift. Well because this is so grippy, sometimes you have to pick you foot up and set it back down, and as most of you would know that can get really sketchy. Over all if you are throwing big standies this is great but if you are looking for a downhill grip job go for something less corse like blood orange.

Great grip perfect for downhill and freeride. Only complaint is that with the custom lengths the roll came with creases that no matter how hard I tried would not come out. Was able to reduce them to be not so noticeable hopefully it will just be a cosmetic issue and not affect the performance

when I bought this stuff from the reviews Ive read, so I put this stuff on my sojourn, I was a real project trying to get this damn stuff applied it to my deck, it made it extremly grippy, so grippy, It made me fly right off my board a few times, It is real stuff man, it it extremely grippy, and the griptape looks so damn badass, even chuck norris would be afraid of this stuff,it has cut my fingers up a few times. This stuff will grip my maestro into the future

This grip is soo good for sliding and mostly everything else I would pick this over mob and day I have a land yachts switchblade 36 and it fits great in the pockets. I really recommend it!! Your feet will NOT slip out with this stuff!!!!

The grip tape, makes you feel like the board is part of your body. I have been riding mine for about half a year and it has barely changed from its original condition, it held me on tight threw turns and coming in and out of turns. Downsides of the grip tape is that its very sharp and cuts you or your friends. Also rips your/ you girlfriends pants lululemon pants.

i have ridden black, clear, and red vicious and they are all awesome! the only grip that comes close is blood orange grip tape. i prefer blood orange because it comes in way more colors, and it is the same grit as vicious but it doesnt have sharp edges(which means less cuts on your hands and legs) and it keeps you locked in just about as well. another cool thing is that you pay $15 for 3 sheets of vicious, and you pay $16 for 4 sheets of blood orange, so you pay $1 for another whole sheet.

This stuff is like ground up sharks teeth on double sided duct tape. It grips but you can move your feet around. I made an interesting little foot pocket that I use for toesides and its really helping me improve. I wouldn't suggest using it for your entire deck, but rather your foot stance/pocket areas. It will cut your hands if you aren't careful. Buy 48 inches of it, because you may want to make pockets or share some with friends. You will improve much faster with this amount of grip, so buy some, slap it on, AND GET OFF THE INTERNET AND RIDE!!!

The blood orange is good but vicious is one of the only that can grip to itself so you can make your own foot pockets.

This stuff is coarse. And sharp. And black. And sticky as hell.It feels sharp and unpleasant in you hands but under your feet it is just gripping onto the soles of your shoes and holds then there whilst you do massive heel sides

I hvae used both red and black. Me personally I prefer the red. If you are not rich or want to dish out money every month for new shoes I recommend that you do not get the black viscous. This is because the griptape is so good that it eats away your shoes because black has the sharpest points. I would say red is the best due to the fact that it grips you to the board about as well except it doesn't eat away your shoes nearly as quickly. So DO NOT BUY THE BLACK buy the clear or red.

This grip tape is very vicious, so vicious in fact that rubbing some against someones arm as a joke causes them to bleed. You will not fall off with this stuff, seriously! Buy 60 inches to make some sweet pockets for locking in on your heelsides. Even better if you have a top mount with concave!

I got this grip knowing it would be grippy because of all the reviews saying they cut there fingers applying it. I have extremely rough hands from working with wood and often hit my hands on running belt sanders, so I didn't expect this to cut my hands. I was wrong. My hands are a bit tore up. This shit is grippy as can be. Worth every penny all day long.

The grip tape is quite literally vicious! Its got some extremely thick grit that makes shoes stick to it like glue! If you're looking for presentation, the thickness of the grit makes it more white than clear, but does the job fairly well. The grip tape itself is a bit heavier than most and will add a slight amount of weight to your board, (at least from what i noticed). Overall, amazing grip tape, and one that's way more thick and grippy than the rest. (VICIOUS)
