This collab brings together two great independent skate brands making products for skateboarders by skateboarders. Killing Floor Skateboards is run out of Portland, Oregon by John Vitale. TKF is known for its thought-provoking collage style graphics. The name, The Killing Floor, comes from a Howlin Wolf song. State Shoes’ goal is to sell classic silhouettes at prices every skateboarder can afford. The Salem, on its own, is an amazing shoe. It’s a classic high top with reinforced panels, raised foxing tape, a vulcanized sole, added toe and heel grip, and minimal branding. TKF’s signature attention to detail and collage-style graphics show up on the insole and in the form of a woven label on the tongue. This shoe offers ankle support, protection and skate durability in the form of raised foxing tape, an ollie bumper, and a reinforced heel cup. Check out both colorways we have in stock here.
