Vans Sk8-Hi Pro MTE DX Shoe Review

The Vans Sk8 Hi Pro MTE DX Shoes are part of the Vans Mountain Edition Collection. These classic silhouettes draw upon Vans’ 20 years of snowboard boot design knowledge and tech to make one of its most classic high top skate shoes winter ready. The suede and leather upper has been replaced by deluxe water-repellant textile uppers. On the inside, Vans added warm linings and a heat retention layer between the Ultracush sockliner and outsole. The vulcanized outsole and traditional waffle grip has been replaced with a vulcanized lug outsole making it a winter ready shoe that’ll help you navigate the ice skating rink formerly know as your driveway. And thanks to a traditional waffle grip tread that’s simply been reversed to add tread, these shoes are still ready to skate once you find a spot dry and warm enough to skate.
