etnies Jameson HT Shoe Review

The etnies Jameson HT is an all vegan, hightop skate shoe inspired by etnies and CCS team rider Ryan Lay. Ryan is a vegan, so it’s only fitting he design a vegan skate shoe. The upper is a combination of synthetic suede and microfiber canvas. The black colorway’s vamp (toe box) is synthetic suede while the grey printed colorway’s is microfiber canvas. Both shoes are very skateable, but the grey is more of a lifestyle shoe. Under the vamp, a hidden toe cap provides added durability. A faux-vulc construction gives the Jameson HT both the boardfeel of a vulc with the support of a cupsole. This is achieved through the etnies milk crate construction. We love Ryan, so we were going to love the etnies Jameson HT either way, but in truth, it’s a really dope shoe.
