Squish a little when tightening hardware. Had to cut holes out for hardware to line up under a set of Thunder trucks. Do a good job a preventing pressure cracks. Took them off my deck I skated for half a year and the deck only has minimal pressure cracks. I mainly skate flat ground. No big gaps or stair sets for me.

I haven't skated shockpads in some time. After skating the crusty NYC streets I decided to give them a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how much they reduced vibration and even impact. I'm riding them in Indy mids. Just keep in mind the shock pad will stick out a bit from the base plate, this may catch on nose and tail slides etc. I trimmed mine down a bit and have no complaints.
