CONS Deckstar SP Slip Ambassador Pack Live 7/7

The CONS Deckstar SP Slip Ambassador Pack all reflect and pull from each ambassador's past. The ambassadors for this pack, Jason Jessee, Aaron Herrington, and Tommy Guerrero, all pulled from their past for the design inspiration of their specific Deckstar Slip on.

The Converse Deckstar Pro Slip-On Jason Jessee Shoes feature debossed leather zebra stripes, a design that was inspired by a photo of Jessee skating a pair of Zebra striped Chucks. Shoes he says are still some of his favorite he’s ever skated. The leather upper is complimented by a paisley print sockliner - you’ll recognize the print from his Santa Cruz Virgin of Guadalupe board.

Herrington went a little more sentimental with his colorway. Pulling from the rich forests and green landscape of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, the Converse Deckstar Pro Slip-On Aaron Herrington Shoes' uppers are a subtle green rubber backed canvas that reflect the state he grew up in - Oregon. Each sockliner have a state’s outline - Oregon in the left shoe, and New York on the right for the state he currently lives.

You probably haven’t heard of the San Francisco Seals, but you’re about to. Mr. Tommy Guerrero has long been a fan of this minor league baseball team that represented the Bay Area from 1903 to 1957. The team’s colors, aesthetic, and lettering have always appealed to Guerrero and he's long wanted to use them for a project. The Converse Deckstar Pro Slip-On Tommy Guerrero Shoes have a perforated suede upper, the vintage look of the parchment midsole, and T.G. monogram sockliner that were all inspired by the SF Seals.

As you might’ve noticed, every style of CONS Deckstar offered in this pack are skateable. The Deckstar are a heritage Converse Slip On that was originally released back in 1967. A key feature that brought the CONS Deckstar back from retirement is its high sidewalls. This extra foxing tape that wraps to a toe bumper or slight toe cap that makes the shoe more durable in high wear/flick areas and a sturdier slip on overall that promises not to bag out after a day of skating. Each Ambassador style features this higher sidewall design and durable uppers, so you can be sure to skate them to your heart’s content.
