Loaded Dervish Sama Longboard Skateboard Complete

I mean I like, but it's nothing special. Especially for the price. It really isn't a very good sliding board and especially not speed. The flex is nice, but pointless other than cruising. There really isn't a really good reason to buy this board other than that it's comfortable. Just find a nice cheaper board and be happy with the money you saved.

this board is good, dont get me wrong, its great quality and has a beautiful aspect but it is definitely not a board that you can easily do freeride on. the people who say that its good for freeride are either lying or have been shredding since birth. This board is to cruise and do some freestyle and some dancing, but definitely not something to DH, Freeride, or even slide on. Its good, its just not good at what theyre saying its good at.

This board does what its meant to do, Freestyle... not free ride or downhill. Get this board if your into dancing or freestyle this board isn't good for downhill or free ride don't listen to all those Groms riding 86a stims <3 :P

It is a Good board to learn on and nice flex however the flex varies because I have a friend who has a sama in flex 1 and I can not bottom it out but the one that I ordered in flex 1 is SUPER flexible to the point if me being able to bottom it out, with a board this flexible it is more difficult to hook back up after slides, early grabs, shuv-it's, and other tricks. The other main problem is if you flip it the this just SHREDS the fiberglass and it starts the making slivers that you can see! It also has Many good parts like it can hit anything and it won't get chipped it just flattins a little. The grip tape is good for about 3 weeks but after that you sould just replace it with vicious grip it holds you in a lot better. I don't think it was quite worth that much at $300 but still a VERY nice board!I would defiantly recommend this board to a friend

i am 140 pounds and the flex option scarde me a little bit at first, the things is, the flex can allow you to do so much more, pop you into slides, rail corners, even some freestyle is easier. Great board, but is a little pricey, i actually got an extremely good deal at a local skateshop in california called Clout. I got the dervish for 239 dollars. The setup is: loaded dervish flex 2, orangatang durians 80a, paris 180 trucks raw/black, and srock bushings. also with loaded bearings and bearing spacers.

The Sama may not be the cheapest option in twin kick freesyle decks, but it's for a very good reason. Carves like a dream, but maintains stability when pushing speeds around 30, and it looks good doing it. If you can only have one board (and $ is no option) you really can't go wrong with this deck. Paris 180's highly recommended, I had mine set up with a set and haven't looked back. Would give it 5 stars easy if it weren't for the price, but like I said you're getting what you pay for.

this board is great. the only problem i have with it is its length. the thing is just too long. You might as well go with the tan tien. Ive ridden both and the tan tien is an overall better board. The dervish sama is more comfortable under your feet though. this board is mainly just for cruising. Not a good choice if you are starting to learn to slide.

I really enjoy riding this board ive had it for a year and it has held up very nicely only a couple scratches and one dent on the ends its really great for anything maybe not so much down hill but you can if you have the right truck set up i have bear852's and i tried bombing my local hill that is pretty abnormally large some dudes got a radar gun and got this guy chase going 55mph down it but they pushed into the hill and i didnt go from the very top and right towards the bottom i barely came out of my tuck and got some pretty intense wobbles but lucky controlled them and made it but all around this board is great for anything you wanna do i just dont like the flex options because I am growing and i got the flex 2 and am getting pretty dang close to 185 and im 6'0'ft but yeah GREAT BOARD!

I remember when my old friend live near to me and he had a dervish, it cost him around £300 and he let me ride it, it was a pretty awesome experience but, (you didn't think I would drone on did you?), I later had a minor mishap, when I was racing down the hill on it, I began to gain speed when the board began to shake rapidly throwing me off the board (bare in mind...I was hitting at least 25/30mph), In Summary: Fingers Broken, 1 Cracked Rib and a dislocated knee... Yummy!

This was the first board I ever purchased. I set it up with bear 852s and otang stimulus 83a. This board was great for sliding and doing some minor freestyle. This board is not meant for downhill as it is super flexy and gets speed wobbles easily.

Got this board several months ago and it completely kills all the competition with Paris 180's and yellow stim's it slides like a knife through butter it's just incredible.

This board is the best board i have owned so far, it is springy and has a good feel to it. The grip is versatile and I love it, but the center piece wears quickly.

this is the best board ever

It's my very first longboard (i tried my friend's dervish (not sama) too) but i've been skating for quite a long time.I use paris 180 trucks, these wheels 75mm 78a, and bones swiss bearing.It's really nice, super smooth in all cruising situations, even on bad roads, the big soft wheels and the flex (flex 1 for me) make the ride feels so perfect.Very responsive with Paris 180 v1 (i wish i ordered 1 month later for the Paris v2 :D)the bearings and wheels are really cool, it feels like there's not friction affecting this board. Just push 1 second, and you ride for 30.I dance a lot on it, and it's really cool, the board is wide and long but not too big so you can carry it around. it looks really durable, a few scratches so far (1 month), but really nice overall.the grip tape work and design on the back are really cool imo.And the grip is really grippy.i'm not sliding on it yet, neither doing high speeds.I use it a lot, and i can't get tired of it. When I got the Dervish Sama ( Flex 1), and road it, it was like I was riding cloud 9. I outfitted it with this beauty with paris v2 trucks, zealous bearings, and 0range otang stims. This is a great board if you are looking to get into freeriding and sliding. Definitely a board I recommend!

I watched the loaded "swirling samas" video and decided I had to have it.My setup is Randal 180s and o'tang stimulus purple. The new Randalls with the white bushings are perfect for it, stable, but flexible for some deep carving when combined with the samas flex.It's an amazing ride due to the springy but predictable flex, great rebound out of corners and easy to break into slides with the right wheel/road surface combo.Symmetrical deck with kicks is awesome for free riding and dancing. I peeled the middle grip tape off (no need for heat or razor blades, just 15mins of peeling) so I could pivot without wearing my shoes as much.Depending on how flexy you get this board, a skilled rider can take it quite fast too (up to 50km i reckon) but it's by no means a DH board.Amazing board, well worth the $$

Great all around board, but have to invest on different sets of bushings depending on what you are using it for. I got a flex 1 and weigh 190... It's stiff(which I like). Got a flex 2 dervish later and great flex, but wouldn't dare take it DH.

Sama is the best tape forever

This board literally blew my mind. It exceeds in every category and is so comfortable to ride! Due to how crappy my roads are, you can still feel rattling, but on sidewalks this board makes you feel like yo are gliding. Get this board now! Don't think twice!

Slides well, performs well. Other day I pulled off a slid and it didn't slide so I ran right into a wall with it. I was going at least 15 or 20 mph. Didn't even crack and just pushed in the wood a little bit. Over all very very dependable board.

Just took my first ride on the Sama tonight. Pouring rain, but took it through its paces in a favorite parking garage... This board does everything! Slides and carves incredibly well. The flex 1 for me is amazing. You can get up to speed so much faster than any stiff board can, and it carves like a knife through soft butter. One odd thing though... I decided to go with the Sama instead of the regular Dervish because of its more friendly nose/tails. It is exactly like the Tan Tien, but about a 1/2 inch shorter! Oh my! What a difference an extra 1/2 inch makes! It is definitely a little harder to use than the Tan Tien in that respect, but obviously easier than a regular Dervish. Seeing as the Sama is a longer board, it would have been better if Loaded had made those kicks/tails at least as long as the Tan Tien, if not even another extra half inch more. I'm totally up for the extra challenge though, as this board feels so good. People that hate on Loaded just don't understand how masterfully engineered they are for surfy carving and easy slides... Also, I think it takes a bit more skill to keep up with a flexible board, but its worth the effort. In the end, you'll be a better longboarder for it, and once you've tamed one, you'll have a friend for life... :-)

You are spoiled to have this board a first board you are rockin a 350$ setup that's dumb but yes it is a great slide board also good for dh believe it or not and carving of course I mean its loaded

this board is great, bought it a month ago and its incredible. ive got black paris 180 trucks, venom super carve bushings, 83a o-tang moronga wheels and bones super swiss 6 bearing and ive gotta say i cannot put this board away, i love it. the carving and stand up slides are great! nicely shaped deck so foot placement is perfect. the lips on both ends of the board make it easy to do manuals and makes the board more symmetrical. so far ive only been sliding and doing tricks with it, not really going downhill yet but the shape of the deck does help support high speeds do to where my feet are placed. over all great board loaded has outdone themselves again. defiantly recommend!

I got flex 3 and weigh 140 and it gives me a very smooth with a lot of bounce for those long rides. I have Paris 180s with loaded bearings, and orangatang in heats orange 80a and it is very smooth and rides over bumps like nothing. shock pads are recommended especially for a road that (is/has) ruff, bumpy, and lots of cracks. good luck if you get a new board cause you will never buy another board / brand again

I was reluctant to buy this board because its on the expensive side, but being that I'm 200 pounds I liked that I could get a custom flex (flex 1). This board doesn't feel as stable as some other boards out there, but when u push the flex makes the impact less noticable and just makes the board more fun to carve around on in general.I'm pretty sure the kicks r reinforced with extra glass also so they don't give when u step on them also reinforcing the weaker part of the board. If u buy it from here get the shock pads they are a free addition and I think bearing spacers r a good idea too. This board's a great option for us tall fellows who just want a board their size to have fun on.

I got this board for Christmas last year and it. is. AMAZING! I rode a Landyachtz nine-two-five for around two years and, although different, it is far better. I weigh around 160 and the flex-1 would definitely be my choice. I'd also pair it with Siesmic Bootleg's and some Bear trucks. It's a really light board so it's perfect for ground tricks. Contrary to some peoples views with it, I can handle high speeds very well with this board. I've also done multiple slide jams with it and it handled perfectly. Overall: Amazing board Loaded, keep it up!

Ive got the flex 2. Perfect amount of flex for carving and dancing, while the concave allows for some light sliding. Highlights of the board are its dancing, and freestyle riding. Can not go wrong with this deck! Well done Loaded on another board! Highly recommend to all riders, beginner to advanced.

This was my first board and I absolutely love it!! It's a great board for beginners, it rides very smoothly and it's not stiff at all which I prefer a board with flexibility so this was great. It also cruises very nicely and goes fairly fast which was another plus for me. Overall I am very pleased with this board.

I absolutely LOVE this board its great. I popped on some abec 11s and some bones reds this is great for cruising and its pretty good for downhill

The first bored i ever got had it for maybe 2 year or more the wood is beyond words it hits the side hard when i let my nice ride it but she leaning and it doesn't chip as bad as maple does

I weigh about 175 and got the flex 2, and I love it. This board is amazing for carving, and sliding, and loaded's flex makes it a very unique ride that my friend's s9s, arbor, & landyachtz boards just can't compare too. If you're worried about the price, just get it man. My setup was $280 (now probably around $290 with new bushings) and it blows my friend's $260 yachtz tomahawk away. So basically if you're like me and live in a relatively flat area with no hills and you're looking to carve & slide, you can't go wrong with this board.

I've bought my sama few days ago and today I suggested to test it! My first impressions was wow! it's stability is really good! no! it's exellent! So i rided about 50 km (30 mi) and that was cool! Sama is great carving machine especially if you loose bearings.. I totally recommend to take this board! P.S. sorry for my english... From Moscow with love!

Just got this one today. Holy molly, this is the BEST board I've ever ride. So SMOOTH & FLEXY to carve and cruise. that's IT!

This board has a great sensual flex that really gets me going. I'm 135 and the flex 2 feels like the perfect fit. I ride with Paris 180 trucks, Remember Hoots 80a wheels, and Zealous bearings.

Bought this board, along with some Paris trucks, Bones Reds bearings and Abec11 70s flashback wheels. This has been a dream setup of mine for more than a year now, and it finally has arrived! I haven't had the chance to try it yet though, as the weather has been letting me down these past few days. But it looks and feels perfect! The Service from Daddies has been top notch, i basically assembled the board i wanted on the site, paid a really good overall fee (International shipping included) and the board arrived exactly in the time frame specified (not considering weekends). The board is in perfect state, even the box looked like it was taken good care of (shout out to USPS for this). All in all a 5 star service!
