How do I find the right size and color? Important information for buyers.
Everyone has their own opinion of what an XL is or should be. When ordering through mail order or online, a good rule to stick by is that bigger is better. Solid color clothing is offered in an assortment of colors, so we will let you pick. On occasion some shades, logo size and logo replacement may vary from those pictured.

Inseams: All jeans and pants come in different inseams or "length measurements." CCS carries
jeans and pants that that range between 26"-34" inseams. If no inseam is listed on a specific item,
then inseams for that item are graded, meaning, they come in different lengths based on waist size (see
chart below).
To measure inseam, take a pair of pants that fit you well and lay them flat. Take a tape measure at bottom
center of crotch and run down inside seam of pant leg to the end.

What does "backorder" mean?
If you add an item to your basket and a message tells
you that the item is on backorder, it means that we are
waiting for the manufacturer to deliver it to us. A
future date that the item is expected to ship will be
displayed. Once this item is available, it will be
immediately shipped out.

How long will it take for my order to get to my doorstep?
Regular shipping within the United States takes 7-10 business days.
We ship in-stock items right away, but if something is on backorder
(i.e. we're waiting for the manufacturer to deliver it to us) it will
take longer. Any back ordered items will be shipped out standard and you
will not be charged additional standard shipping.

all US addresses, including APO/FPO residents. Express shipments
are available to all US addresses for an additional charge. Next

RETURNS
How do I return an item?
Orders made on or after 10/22/07 can be returned up until January 15, 2008 for a refund. Any merchandise placed before 10/22/07 and received after January 15, 2008, will receive store credit or an even exchange.
We want you to be satisfied. Please return any item within 60 days from the ship date. We'll be glad to make an exchange, credit your account or refund your payment. After 60 days we'll be glad to issue a merchandise credit. Follow the instructions on the return form on the back of your packing slip. For exchanges, there is no additional shipping charge. Shipping and handling on returned merchandise is nonrefundable. All items must be unwashed and unworn. All shoes must be unlaced and unworn. Videos and ramp plans must be unopened.
No skateboard or snowboard is completely guaranteed. Once the deck has been used it cannot be returned or refunded. The only exception would be a deck with a manufacturing defect. No returns on assembled, custom complete skateboards. For questions on a possible defect, please call Customer Service at 1-800-875-1800.
Please allow up to three weeks for processing.

What is a CCS Gift Card/E-Gift Card?
A CCS Gift Card comes in two forms: a plastic card and an e-mailed E-Gift Card. CCS Gift Cards/E-Cards (each a "Card") are redeemable for merchandise and applicable towards shipping and taxes at the time of checkout. Do you offer Gift-Wrap?
CCS offers Gift-Wrap Kits which comes with a CCS box with tissue and a gift-card with your message on it. Each Gift-Wrap kit is $3.50. If you choose Gift-Wrap Service, you'll get all that comes in the kit AND we'll wrap it for you! Gift-Wrap Service is $5.00 per item. Some items cannot be gift-wrapped.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
How do I get a CCS catalog?
There are two ways to get a copy of our catalog: buy something
from CCS, or order a catalog at our catalog request page.
If you buy something, we will send you a copy of each catalog we
make during the next twelve months or so. After you have not bought
anything for approximately a year, we stop sending you catalogs.
The other way to get a catalog is to order one by telephone or
over the internet. If you live in the US, the catalog will be
mailed to you FREE; there is no charge for the catalog, and no
charge for the mailing. You will also receive our next two catalogs
when they become available.
We do not send catalogs to people less than thirteen years old.
This is due to company policy and laws that say web sites cannot
collect personal information from people twelve and younger.
Since we can't collect that information, which includes an
address, we can't send the catalog. It's a good law and a good
policy, although we're sorry if it stops you from getting a catalog.
You can always ask a parent or older brother or sister to request
the catalog under their name and birthday, and then you read it when it arrives.

What is an ezine?
An e-zine (electronic magazine) is a magazine in the form
of an email. Instead of a paper magazine mailed to your home,
the e-zine is a type of electronic message sent to your email address.
The CCS e-zine is published and sent out approximately
once a month, although that can vary quite a bit.
Subscriptions to the ezine are completely free!

Tips for the New Skateboard Owner
Congratulations! You have a new deck. Now here are some tips about
how to take care of it--and take care of you, too.
Skate And Ride Safely: Don't skate beyond your ability.
The skateboarders pictured in our catalog are professionals,
and we would make them wear safety gear if we could. Do not
follow their bad example. Always wear protective gear and watch
for traffic. Protective gear is located in the Accessories sections
of the online skate and snow catalogs.
Board Breakage: The main cause for cracks or breaks is
improper foot placement when landing jumps. CCS (or the store
where you bought your deck) will not replace broken boards or ones
with pressure cracks, so skate smart.
Water Damage: If you want your skateboard to last, stay out
of the water! It will rust your bearings, cause your deck to
come apart (delaminate), destroy your bushings, and possibly
cause your deck graphic to smear. Avoid wet conditions.
Adjustments To Completes: Since the nuts may loosen during
shipment, make sure they are secure when you receive your
complete. Even though all the hardware is self-locking and
should stay snug, check it regularly anyway. Your trucks' king pin
nuts should be tightened or loosened to turn to your liking. At
first, you may notice that it seems like the trucks stick to one
side or that all of the wheels don't touch the ground when you step
on your deck. This is due to the new urethane bushings in the trucks.
The bushings will take time to break in, depending on the amount
of use the trucks receive. Also, wheels should have a slight bit of
"play" without being loose.

How can I get sponsored by CCS?
The short answer is, you can't. CCS sponsors only
established and professional skaters. If you're serious about
getting sponsored, you'll have to work hard and get good.
To get noticed in the industry, you need to try to become sponsored
by a local shop or by an equipment manufacturer. Ask if you can
send them video tapes or other pictures showing them your skateboarding
ability, or go see them in person if you can. Be persistent and keep
practicing and good luck!

everyday. But, here's the situation: we are only a skateboard distributor,
meaning we don't make the products we sell or have any control over
what graphics will go on an item. Try looking through Transworld,
Thrasher, Big Brother, Slap, or any other magazine to find
your favorite company's address. Try writing them for help.

No thank you, and no. We like to see the up and coming skaters
busting tricks, but we'll get hundreds or thousands of them if we say yes.
Anyway, we only put pictures of pro skaters in our catalog because
that's what the kids want to see. Plus, it would be unfair for us to
put your pictures in the catalog and not pictures that other kids sent CCS.
So please don't send us anything.

I have no money to buy a new skateboard/shoes etc. Can you help me out with some free stuff?
We understand your predicament, but are sorry to say that we
can't provide you with any free products. We have to be fair to
our customers, and if we give you free shoes/board etc, we would
have to give something to every person who asked. We receive similar
requests everyday, and we would not be able to do this. However, we
can give you some tips on how to make some cash! Try doing odd jobs for
your neighbors, family members, family friends etc. By doing stuff
like mowing lawns, cleaning out garages, paper routes, etc. you can
make a fair amount of money. Start saving!

Why don't you make your pros wear protective gear in your catalog? They are role models for our kids, and when they see pros without protective gear it gives them the wrong idea.
The reason why the pros in our catalog don't wear protective
gear is because they are "Professional." They have been skating
for so long that they feel confident in their ability. We understand

You don't carry product "x" anymore. Can you special order it for me?
The only things we sell are in our current catalog and/or
displayed on our web site. If you don't see it in there then we
probably don't have it. You can call us to see if we have some
left on sale. If we don't then we can't special order it either. Sorry.

I am starting my own skate shop. Can I buy things from you for resale?
No. We only sell to individual customer, not stores
or distributors, and all of our prices are retail.

Can I use images from your web site on my web site?
Thanks for asking about using photos from our catalog.
The fact that you asked shows that you respect our rights, and we
appreciate that very much. Our policy is this: You CANNOT use
photos of the merchandise in the catalog. Those photos belong to
our suppliers, and we cannot give out permission to use them.
You CAN use the action photos of our pro riders for your personal web
page or other non-commercial use. It is okay to use these photos as
long as your use is personal and not for business.
