Plan B skateboards was originally started in 1991 by Mike Ternasky, with the intentions of building a "super team." Ternasky gathered the top pros to skate for his Plan B skateboards team, and soon after released arguably the most groundbreaking skate video of all time, "Questionable." After Ternansky's untimely death in 1994, team riders Danny Way and Colin McKay took the reigns and headed the company, until it was temporarily put on hold in 1998.

Plan B skateboards was resurrected in 2005, with original riders Danny Way and Colin McKay as co owners. Following Ternasky's original formula, the current line-up for the Plan B skateboards team consists of some of the top skaters in the world such as Paul Rodriguez, PJ Ladd, and Felipe Gustavo, as well as original Plan B riders Danny Way, Colin McKay, and Pat Duffy, and including CCS team riders Ryan Sheckler and Torey Pudwill. CCS proudly carries a large selection of Plan B decks, wheels, hardware, and grip-tape.
