Celebrate 25 years of snowboarding innovation and fun with K2 Snowboards! With roots dating back to 1987, K2 was originally involved in the Pacific Northwest - before the snowboarding industry exploded into a worldwide winter phenomenon. The brand's tradition of pushing the envelope with innovative snowboard, boot, and binding designs continues to present day. For the 2012-2013 season, the K2 Happy Hour and Raygun were given the highly acclaimed Good Wood designation from Transworld Snowboarding.

New for this year, K2 introduces the Tweekend™ baseline profile on select snowboards. The Tweekend™ baseline profile extends the rocker portion of the snowboard to include the entire rise of the tip and tail. This allows the rider to exert pressure on the whole surface out to the end of the board - making a better platform for stomping airs and pressing butters. The innovation and advanced tech doesn't stop with K2's snowboards, they've begun refining their binding line to incorporate urethane construction into their highbacks with Tweekback™ technology. Urethane has a very wide range of hardness and is extremely durable and tough which makes it a perfect material for incorporating into binding highbacks. Lastly, they also produce top-notch boots, clothing, goggles, helmets, and backcountry accessories to inspire good times on the slopes.

With such a longstanding legacy in the snowboard world and loaded to the teeth with technology, they have assembled an amazing professional team to back up their killer products. Longtime snowboard legends such as Travis Parker, Jordan Mendenhall, and Gretchen Bleiler represent the lifeblood of the K2 Snowboarding brand and maintain its iconic status.
